there’s a book out there named, fishing flies. whether the title was intentional or not, fish take flies. of course they take marshmallows, niblets and weiners, as well.
i tie a fly similar to that orange fuzzy guy. it’s taken carp, crappie, bluegill, bass and brown trout so far. the rainbows i’ve dropped it in font of have been quite disdainful. so have the gar…no accounting for taste i guess.
