Skiers get enough toys, I’d call it a “Spring Creek Float Tube” myself. Low profile for those all-too-common moments when you need just six more feet on your cast…
…Or, it’s getting dark and crossing the river at the car is faster. There’s no end to the cleverness of desperate fishermen.
We’ll have to lose the red color – but after a liberal dose of camo you can float right up to the wariest fish – just make sure you have the right fly on beforehand, as it doesn’t look like you’ll be able to access your fly box once inflated…
It’s actually head protection for avalanche prone skiers – but they’d never use it as they’re so fashion conscious …

After recovering from the shock of Singlebarbed covering snow-related sports, I wondered how often the device would ever get deployed during the pummeling if caught in an avalanche. Once buried, I have been told, any movement is problematic.
To me the damn thing looks like a growth I once had: got it lanced and treated with alcohol.
It occurs to me that the only ones reading this blog are the ones desperatly seaching for topics to use on their own blog!
I think they should name it the “Butthead” myself – instead they named it the “SnowPulse.”
Obviously the advertising department is humorless, sigh …
Well now, there’s an interesting concept. I think Butthead would be a good name.
Got a 1448 jonboat and a new (for me) 18 hp Nissan. Lets put it to use sometime. Went to Lake Siskiyou yesterday and about froze to death.
Isn’t it supposed to be “c’mon up – I’m killing them” – rather than “c’mon up and get kilt.”
…don’t tell me you still have a grudge from me sitting on your favorite rod – it’s been years!
When I saw this post I knew it reminded me of a previous product that I saw somewhere.
Last year, at an official Halliburton function, a full-body suit was presented that would ostensibly protect executives from all sorts of threats.

There must be a fishing application there, somewhere.
