I will confess having succumbed to the allure of all those wonderful plates in the book. My dry fly assortment is quickly being augmented with the Gordon Quill, Red Quill, and some of the other timeless Catskill patterns.

Apologies for the misspelling of the the author's name, it's been corrected.

@Mike Valla - great book, Mike. It's an engaging read and a valuable addition to any tier's library. Sorry about the faux pas on the spelling.

@Yomama - Oprah's Book Club is only the start, next week I'm going to debut the "Singlebarbed Diet" - that's when we'll hit our stride...

@Scott - just follow along behind, I leave the first dozen in the trees behind me.

WHAT TOOK SO LONG ? Singlebarbed has just hit it's stride with a streamside version of OPRAH'S BOOK CLUB ! Can anything more be needed to demonstrate the soaring intellectual capacity of today's mobile and sophisticated angler ? This first review is full of answers to questions a lot of fishermen didn't know they needed to ask!
