PS I&#039;m told the best vise in the Law Vise (Lawrence Waldren?). I don&#039;t know anyone in my area who has one I can try, so this is just hearsay.</description>

I myself prefer to align guides opposite the spline. However,I have had blanks so crooked as to require alignment on the straightest axis, and I must admit, I didn&#039;t notice any difference in action.</description>
