Choosing our leaders according to their abilities as fly fishermen is probably as good as any of the failed methods tried in the past two centuries. Here, the Repubs continue to hold the edge, as their most celebrated fly fishermen seem to have been H. Hoover, Cal Coolidge, Ike, and Teddy R. If Jimmy Carter heads the Dem roster, this is no contest. Not sure I like where this is headed either, but with the elephant and the donkey in contention, I like THE GOAT as a symbol for the American voter. This idea has legs !

As every candidate is embracing “change” – attempting to show the electorate how they’re so much different than what we’ve eaten the last eight years, I thought a reminder of what drastic change is might have legs.
