Just wait – once they get an angler on the Wheaties box you’ll be convinced. Olympics first though – all them athletes will be avoiding beer until competition is complete, meaning us anglers can get a “two-fer” discount.

It’s about time the long rod gains in popularity. I also have been utilizing the benefits of a long stick for some time now. I like new techonolgy as much as the next guy, but I’m still not quite ready for competitive fly fishing.
