I needed a laugh. Thanks that was really funny. I think these types of gadgets are fantastic. I have no qualms saying that I would be proud to be the first to send video of me in the mountains to taunt my coworkers. But, I have a sneaking suspicion that such taunts would catch up to me. Because, then they would be able to find me a contact me when I don’t want them to.

Hey Hugh,

Its actually 10m or 30ft — sometimes called “Water proof,” but in really “Water resistant,” in fact that is what Iasis now calls them. Basically, just good enough that if you take a short swim you’re ok I have the Iasus N2s. If you want voice activation then I would suggest the N3s. I’m using them with a Garmin radio/gps unit.

LOL! My personal favorite: “You’re blind, that fish was no more than 10?” I know I could use that one….

ps: FYI, my fishing buddy and I use military issue throat mics while on the river — no background noise whatsoever. We do look silly, but when one of us is catching, it nice to be able to ask what the other what fly is hot. If an honest answer is given, well, thats another question…
